Flow Divider Operation
Rotary flow dividers use ganged gear motors to split inlet flow into equal outlet flows:
Q_outlet = Q_total / N_outlets
Accuracy and Back Pressure
Real dividers have 2-5% accuracy tolerance. Back pressure differences cause additional imbalance.
Efficiency by Section Count
- 2 section: 94-97%
- 4 section: 90-95%
- 8 section: 85-92%
